STEP UP for DOWN SYNDROME!

Living with Down syndrome does not stop because of a pandemic so neither should our October celebration. It may look a little different this year, but our hope is to bring our community together to celebrate our loved ones, educate our communities and raise needed funds to continue our mission. To protect the health of our community we will not be able to come together in person, but we can come together as one voice in our social spaces. We can rally our communities to support our cause, educate and advocate for those living with Down syndrome.  
We will celebrate Down syndrome awareness month during October in a new way - A BIG WAY - because

• A pandemic does not stop the love we have for one another.

• A pandemic does not stop the passion we have to educate others about all the abilities of people with Down syndrome. 

• A pandemic does not stop our celebration of milestones accomplished. 

• A pandemic does not stop the need for the funds to keep our organization moving forward in our mission to support people with Down syndrome and their families all over the state of Alabama.
